bread bags are (cute af!!) abortion-access informational kits. bread bags contain a risograph-printed sourdough boule (sorry, we would not recommend munching this one) as well as zines, brochures, stickers, and other practical gear for menstruators and all those who love us. Thanks to community support as well as the support of partnering organizations, these kits are stocked with enough goodies to keep and to share.Â

While there is some variability from kit to kit based on available materials, funding, and which region the kit is popping up in, each kit provides baseline links or information about pregnancy options counseling, how people access high quality abortion care or practical support, types of abortion care, care planning through pregnancy release, accessing legal or medical advice, and more. Most bread bags are distributed in person through events, tabling, community centers, and regional organizers.
